The Boca Raton "Holiday Hoedown" included a unit from our club on December 9th, 2009. Gwen Herb's yellow BMW convertible was our centerpiece, proudly displaying our Soroptimist sign, logo, a Santa "Happy Face" sign, and a puppet Santa animated by Helen. Our group sported matching blue Soroptimist tee shirts and antler headbands. Heading up the pack were Teri Martin and Kim Champion, carrying the "Soroptimist International" banner. Playing to the crowds were Judi Levy and Carmen Uceda, handing out suffed animal toys to the kids! In the convertible were Helen Babione, Gewn Herb, and "Annie" the Christmas doggie. There were over 4,000 participants in the parade this year, possibly outnumbering the spectators! Before the parade we all gathered at the Bangkok in Boca restaurant for dinner.  Gwen's husband snapped a few pictures of us marching.
