In honor of our club's 50th Anniversary, Rosemary Krieger recited her original poem at our Installation Dinner on June 9th, 2010 at Brooks Restaurant. An enthusiatic group of 40 Soroptimist supporters were enthralled by Rsoemary's words. As a keepsake, here is Rosemary's "Soroptimist 50th Anniversary Tribute."

Setting goals to benefit women and girls, bringing the best like shiny pearls.

Accomplishing your vision each step of the way, leaving a legacy the community will say.

Recognized by others for powerful work, never stopping, doing good is your perk.

Recruiting your own Soroptimister, each man smiles and plants a kiss on her.

It is a known fact in Boca Raton, girls and women awards, Soroptimist you phone.

Lovely Kim, devoted, sharp and on the ball; she never allowed Soroptimist tom fall.

A new year approaching with our dear Lorry, as President she will continue the glory.

Board and members striving to do their best, mission completed and then you can rest.

Lifetime Director, club's matriarch, Helen Babione, admired and loved by all, sits on the throne.

Immediately following Rosemary's recital of her poem to Soroptimist, our club presented her, as a surprise, our Honorary Lifetime Membership award. Rosemary has supported our clubs' projects and events for several decades, as much as any member. Rosemary now joins a superlative group of honorees, as Honorary Lifetime Members of Soroptimist International of Boca Raton/Deerfield Beach, including Henrietta, the Countess DeHoernle, Mary Wong, and Barbara McCormick.
