This past year, Soroptimist presented scholarships to female heads of households enrolled in college studies, hosted career lecture series for High School students, and supported 24 local and International organizations who assist women and children.
The installation of Officers was conducted by Kathi Pease, President, SI of the Palm Beaches. Kathi chose a nautical theme, and presented a series of plaques with inspiring themes, such as Wisdom from a Seahorse: "Do not get tide down, Go with the flow & Seas the Beauty Around You”
The following 2017-2018 Board of Directors were installed:
A large framed Certificate of Appreciation was presented to SI member Mrs. Rosemary Krieger for her many years of Service and continued Support of Soroptimist International of Boca Raton/ Deerfield Beach. Several Soroptimist past Presidents attended as special guests of Helen Babione, a member for 50 plus years
