SUMMARY:AACY Holiday Celebration
DESCRIPTION:~~December 22nd Holiday Celebration for our many caregiving youth and their families...and special thanks to those of you who have helped in years past!\n\nOne way is through the donation of "regiftables" - something for a man or a woman or a family that you have received\, is still new and just isn't "you" - we collect these and arrange in a Holiday "Shoppe" for the kids.  The kids shoppe for family and then wrap their selections. The majority of our hundreds of kids who are family caregivers in our work and their families are financially insecure.  They typically lack disposable income to hire help at home or for gifts.  You are welcome to stop by our office with your regiftables...it is at 6401 Congress Ave. #200 - between Clint Moore and Yamato on the west side of the street or I can pick them up!\n\nA second way to help is by volunteering at our Sunday\, Dec. 22nd Holiday Celebration.  It is held at the Safe Schools Institute at the southeast corner of Military and Spanish River...the first building as you take the first right on Spanish River by Don Estridge Middle School. There are two sessions and families have a hot meal\, thanks to Broken Sound\, Sam's Club and others! We especially need help for our second seating from 3-5\, including setting the tables.  Volunteer jobs include being a personal shopper\, checking the kids in\, helping with crafts for the little ones\, assisting with the portrait booth\, wrapping gifts\, serving food and more.  I have copied Emily Kilgore who is our Activities Manager - please email her directly with your availability.\n\nIf anyone has time on Friday\, December 20th\, we also need help with the setting up.  There are lots of moving parts!\n\nYou can also learn more at our website: [www.aacy.org](http://www.aacy.org)
