SI BOCA'S SOCIAL EVENT: PAINTING FOR A PURPOSE

A huge shout out to Monka's Beer & Burger Bar, Lake Worth and our amazing instructor, Melissa-owner of Mobile Masterpieces for hosting our social night!  20 guests enjoyed an evening of food and creative artwork (Who knew we had so many artists?!) This easy and fun fundraiser helped raise money for our project initiatives.  Thank you to our new club member, Tracy Smith for taking the lead and organizing the event!  More information on our next social night will be coming!

SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL:

A global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.

Our focus is on education because educated women and girls are:

  • Less vulnerable to sex traffickers
  • More likely to leave a domestic violence situation and not return
  • Able to access healthcare
  • Less likely to live in poverty
  • Able to raise stronger, healthier families

Soroptimists are Philanthropists. Through our fundraising, we donate money to help women and girls, locally and around the world. Soroptimists are Activists, coordinating worldwide projects, such as the "Women's Opportunity Award" and bringing awareness to social injustices. Soroptimists are Optimists.

We hope you will join and partner with us to make the world a better place for women and girls!
